CEDAR FALLS -- The Public Works Department has begun sanitary sewer rehabilitation on River Bluff Drive.

Work to install a new manhole structure will last about a week and has led the city to close the roadway between 1605 and 1607 River Bluff Drive. Residents living adjacent to the closed segment can place garbage and yard waste cans at either end of the closure for pick-up.

City officials ask in the name of safety for walkers and vehicles to stay away from the construction area. Heavy equipment will be moving back and forth on the closed street. Questions or concerns can be directed toward the Public Works Department by calling 319-273-8629.
